Our History

Midas Travel Management was formed by Dave Sullivan and Mike Jenkins, originally as Sullivan Jenkins Travel, in 1996. As the business grew and diversified and new members of staff joined the team it was decided to brand this new enterprise with a more formal identity – Midas Travel.

By the usual standards of the business travel profession, the growth of Midas has been very rapid. The reasons behind this growth are not complex, 90% plus of our business comes to us as direct referrals from our existing clients, plus, we don’t lose our clients. Our formula for success has been simple, we deliver standards of service and cost savings so great that our clients inevitably end up recommending us; then, we keep delivering these standards so they don’t want to leave us.

Ours is a truly client driven business; our continued expansion and the evolution of our service range is a direct response to the needs of our clients. For example, in 2002 we launched a specialist Media Division to serve our clients in the film, television, theatre and music industries. As new challenges arise and opportunities present themselves we will continue to develop and shape our business to ensure it continues to provide our clients with excellent service and value-for-money.
